For those that don’t know, PLR articles means Private Label Rights articles. That  means if you buy PLR articles, you are allowed to edit the articles, change them however you want, put your name on it, and basically do what you want with them.

People buy PLR articles because they are a lot cheaper than hiring someone to write a unique article just for you. People use PLR articles in different ways. Some people post them on their website, some use them for their blogs, some who have a list of subscribers send them to their list, and there are other ways to use them.

Most people try to reword the articles so they seem unique while others just copy and paste the articles as they came.

PLR articles are a good deal for the writer and the buyer. They buyer gets quality articles for a low price which will save them time and money and the writer can sell PLR article packs several times over making them a nice amount of money.

Some writers choose to limit how many bundles or packs they will sell while others do not.

If you are a writer, you can make money by writing and selling PLR articles. You can write 10 articles on gardening for example, then sell the pack for $10. Now $10 for 10 articles isn’t much, but say you sell 50 packs. That is $500 which is much better!

If they can’t afford to outsource any work, they have to do it all themselves.

So Bob, will have to spend more time writing reviews, writing articles himself, and using free methods to promote his website.

It’s a huge internet out there and there is room for lots of competition, but if you are promoting the exact same product gurus are promoting, you will really have to put some hard work in it to get your piece of the pie.

I have found my hero. It is a young woman named Holly Mann. She is an American who lives in Thailand and makes thousands of dollars every month from the internet.

    It seems there’s a fee for every little thing, a fee for this and fee for that and next thing you know there will be a fee for breathing.

However the $6.99 additional fee a year for private registration for domain names is something I choose to pay. It’s optional and I could easily keep my $6.99 for a years worth of private registration on top of the $9.99 domain name fee, but privacy in this day and age is important.

You have to enter your contact information when you purchase a domain name including name, address, and phone number and it really does have to be accurate or your domain can be taken away from you.

But do you really want the whole world to know your contact details?

Think about it. What if someone doesn’t like something on your website. They can use whois and find out exactly who you are. They can send harassing phone calls or worse. Or on the other hand, they can really like you and next thing you know you have crazy stalker. To some, it may sound paranoid, but stuff like this has happened to people before and I’d rather be safe than sorry. Everyone knows the world is overflowing with crazies.

And with identity theft the fastest growing crime, someone can use the information stored in whois to assume your identity. Some people can use your information to send you spam, but as much as we all hate spam, that seems mild compared to the worse things that can happen.

So if you are going to register a domain name, you probably will want to pay the extra fee to keep your information private.

Squidoo and Hub Pages are ways to promote your website, blog, a free way to do affiliate marketing, or a way to make a page about something you are interested in as a hobby.

Warning- Don’t expect to make a lot of money with Squidoo or Hub Pages.   It is possible, but for most people, it just isn’t the case.

The biggest benefit of Squidoo pages is not making a good amount of money, but to promote your website or blog, bring in free traffic, and gain backlinks. The other good things about Squidoo is it is very easy, completely free and it can be fun as well.

With just a click of the mouse you can add adsense and amazon products and if your Squidoo lens happens to make revenue Squdioo splits it with you 50/50.

You can also sell Squidoo lenses or trade or give them away easily. You just simply transfer them to another persons Squidoo account.

I like Squidoo pages and have a positive view on them, but just don’t expect to make a good income with them unless you have a tons of lenses that get very good traffic.  If you have a main website or blog, make a Squidoo lens on the same niche and put links in it to your website for free traffic and backlinks.

What is virtual real estate? It’s online properties, the most common and valuable are websites and blogs. It can also be Squidoo pages or similar pages but they are not as valuable as websites and blogs.

Do you have virtual real estate or would you like to? It’s a great idea. You should think about setting up a portfolio of virtual real estate if you haven’t already.

Physical real estate like houses are very expensive and not to mention all the taxes. The good thing about virtual real estate is that anybody can own some. It appreciates with time and if you take good care of it, you can sell it for a nice profit when you are ready.

You can build your own virtual properties or you can buy some already made. The good thing about a blog is technical skills are not required, if you can point and click a mouse and type, then you can have a blog.

Some virtual properties require certain computer knowledge and technical skills, but there is software which allows anyone to create a website without any special skills. You simply point, click, and type what you want to say and the website software turns it into a working website.

Since virtual properties appreciate in value (for the most part), if you haven’t gotten started on your virtual real estate portfolio, what’s stopping you?

I recently received another check from Google for my participation in Google Adsense. You have to have at least $100 in your account before they will send you the check. They send out checks once a month. If your account reaches or exceeds a hundred dollars in May for example, they will send you your check in June.

I’m not sure how long it took me to reach that 100 dollar pay out, I honestly don’t even keep track. I’d say maybe 3 months. Last time I did better, I made more money in less amount of time. But one of my sites was getting a lot more traffic then and the traffic dramatically dropped and my adsense was cut in half.

So I’m quite far from reaching my goal which is to make $500 from adsense a month, but I’m going to keep working to get there.
